| Born in Guatemala in 1974, studied Architecture in the University Mariano Gálvez and the school of Bellas Artes and has worked with the recognized artist Elmar Rojas. Self learned, has placed expositions en Houston TX at the Westing Oaks Gallery, and has participated en art auctions such as the Latin Grammy Awards in 2001 and in 2003 in the USA. His works have been selected at the “Bienal de arte Paiz”, “Arte Subasta Juannio 2004, 2007”, “Fundación Rozas Botran” Bronze Award 2003, “Obra x Obra Rotarios Guatemala Sur”, Contest of the French Embassy 2005, and has participated in many collective and individual expositions. He’s done important works like one of the Murals at the University Galileo Galiley Fissic Idea. His works stand out in many private collection and have been mentioned in many tv and radio shows such as “Avances”, “El Vagon”, “Revista Stilo”, “Revista Critica”. Alexey's artworks are made over aluminium, mixed textures and colors with an ingenuous and elegant appearance. |
